Self-publishing authors

Self-publishing authors are welcome. You can have your index delivered in the style, format and layout you require. If you are unsure what to ask for, I can explain the various options to help you decide, or make all the decisions for you.

eBook indexes

Indexes are not just for physical books. Make your eBook stand out from the crowd by giving it a linked index to complement the search facility of eReaders. If you are thinking of publishing with Amazon Kindle or Smashwords, ask us about eBook indexing.

Indexes for editors and publishers

I can prepare back-of-the-book indexes in most subjects aimed at a general readership. I am also happy to index books at a more advanced level in specialist areas including:

 chemistry, theology, biblical Hebrew and Greek, science and religion, cookery, classical music 

Indexes can be prepared either from final proofs (PDFs), or as embedded indexes in Microsoft Word documents. Embedding in InDesign can also be considered.

You can have your index delivered in the style, format and layout you require.

I am sometimes able to accommodate work at short notice; or you can book ahead.
